Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
